1. ------ "Joe Robson's Ramblings"

Hi there, I hope you're well:-)

In the past few weeks we have received 3 refund requests from customers who thought our ebooks were unsafe to download.

They're NOT, but it's understandable that some people are worried - even shocked - to get a pop up window saying that they are about to download a .exe program, and .exe programs are potentially unsafe.

That's because .exe programs are ideal for hiding spyware and viruses inside of them.

Another warning can be words to the effect that you are 'about to download a program from an unverified source. Are you sure you want to download it?'

These warnings can be very frightening to some one who is new to downloading.

However they are there to protect you.

The warnings are directly related to your Browser security settings, and they pop up whenever someone attempts to download something onto your PC without your knowledge.

If you KNOW the source is trustworthy (we have been online for 6 years) then download. If you are deliberately downloading something either from us or from anyone else who you TRUST, and you are warned of the dangers of .exe files, then download it.

But if a window pops up and you did NOT prompt a download, then someone is attempting to download something onto your PC - probably spyware.

This can happen sometimes when you are surfing the web. And as I found out last week to my cost, it happens a lot when you visit joke sites and other high traffic freebie sites.

So you should cancel the download.

Are you making a living - or attempting to - from affiliate programs?

Whether you are making a full time living or struggling to start up, I bought an ebook the other day which has already made a substantial improvement to my affiliate marketing income and will do the same to anyone who studies it.

It was released to a fanfare of trumpets and overkill of promotional emails to my inbox a couple of weeks ago. Unfortunately I tend to delete everything that is promoted that way - which is wrong. Because I like to think I am open minded enough to look at any and all new ideas.

So I finally bought it the other day and was really shocked at the dynamite information it contains. Some of it was stuff I already knew but which served as a reminder that the basics are too easy to forget. The rest, however is pure gold, and I recommend it to anyone who is remotely interested in earning from affiliate programs.

It's not a huge ebook filled with fluff and packaging. It's just 50 pages of pure intensive and usable advice, from a guy who earns a huge income in the trenches.

Get it!

It's at http://tncinfo.com/x/

That's it for this week my friend .

Keep smilin':-)

Joe. P.S. Project X is the most valuable ebook I have purchased in a long long time. If you are successful, struggling, or just thinking about starting an affiliate program business, you MUST grab this book ...

"Were You Told That Newbies Cannot Build A Website?"

"I spent weeks and hard earned money, trying to build my own website and it was a disaster. Talk about angry! As a last resort I tried your web builder course. Why didn't I find it 6 months ago? It's remarkable how you've translated all that frightening mumbo jumbo I've been trying to translate, into a beginner-friendly course that grabbed my attention right from the start. Two of my friends have already taken my advice and bought it. Thank you Newbie Club for a brilliant newbie course.
Sincerely, Anne Harcot (Email with held for privacy)

Why is she so pleased? http://newbieclub.com/builder

2. Tutorial ... "How to Install XP's Built-in Fax Service"

================================

Hey, wouldn't it be great to send and receive faxes from your Windows XP computer without having to buy expensive software?

If you can have a fax modem installed you can do just that. But you'll need to take a few steps because the fax service is not installed by default.

Here’s what you do:

Click START,

CONTROL PANEL,

ADD/REMOVE programs.

Click 'ADD/REMOVE windows components' on the left side.

When the window opens, scroll through and make sure the FAX Services box is checked.

Click NEXT and follow the prompts.

Click Finish when the Wizard is done.

Now to configure the service:

Click Start,

All Programs,

Accessories,

Communications,

Fax and finally ...

Fax Console.

When the Fax Configuration Wizard starts, go through the steps to enter sender information, select the modem you want to use, and choose whether you want to be able to send or receive faxes, or both.

Enter the TSID information: Info that appears as a header when you send a Fax and the CSID information that is displayed on the sending fax machine.

Select whether you want the machine to auto answer or manually answer. If you choose auto answer, specify how many rings before pickup.

Also select whether to automatically print faxes or store a copy in a folder.

Click Finish on the Summary page of the Wizard.

Done! Now you can send and/or receive faxes!

If you want to of course:-)

3.   KWIK TIP ... "Speed Up Your PC Start Up"

=================================

Is your PC slow? Does it take forever for the icons to display when you open the My Computer Folder?

You can fix that with a few simple steps. Isn't everything simple when you know how?

Normally when your PC opens, it looks for all the folders that are available, this includes network folders too. Depending on how many folders are available this can take some time.

To turn this function off and speed up the loading of your folders ....

Click on Start

My Computer

Click Tools in the toolbar

Folder Options

Click on the VIEW tab and the 1st box in the window should be 'Automatically search for network folders and printers'.

UNcheck it.

Click OK

Your My Computer folder icons should display a lot faster now.

See, I told you it was simple:-)

"So You Think Your PC Is Safe.
Boy Oh Boy How Wrong You Are!"

Is it safe from hackers and virus spreaders who take great pleasure in digging around and spying inside it, then stealing your personal and valuable information? Think they can't do that? Think because you've got Norton, you're automatically protected? Wondering why your PC is slowing down so much? Stop the Information Hackers and Virus Spreaders DEAD.

This may shock you ... http://newbieclub.com/security

4.   Tutorial ... "How To Customize Your Desktop"

===============================

Wouldn't you like to customize your Desktop with all your favorite pictures instead of just that one you set as your Wallpaper?

You can even use animated .GIFs, if you like a desktop that's in motion.

Just follow these steps:

Get to the Display Properties by RIGHT-clicking on an empty space on your desktop and choosing Properties.

Click on the Desktop Tab and then

Customize Desktop at the bottom of the screen.

Choose the WEB tab then click the NEW button.

This is going to allow you to add desktop items that are independent of each other.

Click the BROWSE button and add the files that you want on your desktop.

Click OK to close that box,

Click Apply

Click OK

Your new desktop item will appear.

If you linger the mouse over the top of the item, it will bring up a toolbar.

Hold the Left Mouse key down on the toolbar and draaaag it where you want it to show on your desktop and release it.

In the top left corner of the toolbar, the little arrow will also offer you some ways to arrange your new desktop item.

5.   Tutorial ... "How To Read Word Documents Without The Software"

================================

Not everyone can afford the World's most popular Word Processor - Microsoft Word.

So it can be infuriating if you receive a Word document from a friend or business, and you cannot read it.

No problem ...

There's a Microsoft viewer you can download onto your PC which allows you to read MS Word docs even if you don't have the MS Word Software.

Go to the Microsoft Website at http://office.microsoft.com/home/default.aspx

In the Search box at top right, type in "word viewer" (include the quotes)

This brings up a download page from where you select the download applicable to your Windows system.

You can use the same procedure to download other MS viewers ...

MS PowerPoint viewer ......... "powerpoint viewer"

MS Excel viewer ..... "excel viewer"

MS Access viewer .... "access viewer"

So even though you can't produce any documents without the appropriate software, at least you can read documents created by your friends and colleagues.

6. Joe's Pause For Thought

===================================

"Realize that true happiness lies within you. Waste no time and effort searching for peace and contentment and joy in the world outside. Remember that there is no happiness in having or in getting, but only in giving.

Reach out. Share. Smile. Hug. Happiness is a perfume you cannot pour on others without getting a few drops on yourself."
